Snapdeal has acquired Reduce Data, a Silicon Valley based Startup.Post acquisition, Reduce Data team will join Snapdeal which has a team of 15 members.
Reduce Data helps brands to deliver advertising strategies for consumers across various platforms and devices with it’s programmatic display advertising platform that leverages artificial intelligence, real-time data and other tools delivering high return on investment for advertising campaigns.
The financial Details of the transaction were not disclosed by both the companies, but Asif Ali will lead the marketplace technology at Snapdeal post acquisition.
This acquisition will boost Ad revenues of Snapdeal. Ad revenues boost profits of e-retailers like snapdeal and hence e-commerce gaints like Flipkart acquired AdIQuity Technologies, a mobile advertising technology firm in March in order to improve its ad revenues.
Reduce Data currently has customers across the US, the UK and India. Snapdeal is confident that this acquisition will strengthen it’s ad revenues across various platforms and devices thus boost it’s profits.
